No two people are equal much less everyone.

Egalitarianism is bullshit and while it is important to treat humans with respect and dignity a certain degree of inequality is desirable in societies to allow the flourishing of the society.
I think there is a certain philosopher with this view, I forgot his name. Was he right or wrong?

What do you expect? There's near perfect control of information these days. After it's gone through the media and education apparatuses, there's basically not a drop of truth to be found in the whole place.

Does /lit/ even have mods anymore? Half of these garbage threads are delete worthy.

Egalitarianism is about fundamental human value. It's not, by definition, contradictory to the presence of some social inequality. What you described ("treating humans with respect and dignity") is the essential tenet of egalitarianism.

Then as far as I am concerned they are /pol/ shills who don't shit about modding /lit/. They can only get the most obvious shitposts and are content with letting this place turn into /pol/.

If you take the collective aspects of a person they will be equal to the collective aspects of everyone else. Just their personal collective may not work too well in the current regime. Some are more intelligent, while being cowardly. While other are less intelligent, while being courageous. It may be an impossible task to fashion a regime that puts all aspects to use, thus making everyone equals. Inequality is to be expected until we reach this goal. No biggie.

But I'm just talking out my ass, I come to this thought while eating out tonight. Calamari was super good, and there were fireworks outside. Being on the tenth floor made one feel very close, totally unexpected and it was great.
