A life of chastity serves as clear evidence that I do not hold dear the atavistic belief that sexual intercourse should be given more meaning than any other actions a human decides to perform, whether it's making coffee or swatting flies. I slept with a girl a couple times over the summer. It made me feel good about myself, and I was suddenly more productive than I can remember being in a long time.
Before that, I'd spent about nine months trying to get over (or inside, depending entirely on her will) this girl with whom I, for some reason, was infatuated. We kissed a few times, and she always ended up telling me she wanted to be friends and nothing more immediately afterward. It was awful for my self-esteem, and I basically spent the whole winter moping.
Now, I'm starting to feel particularly lonely and empty again. I got a qt's number at a party on Sunday and I'm considering texting her. We took a class together last semester and we've talked a few times, she seems smart and she's bretty cute. I don't know, though.
