Hi I am a comicfag here, can comic books be considered a some kind of literature? I mean you do have to read it and appreciate it in some way, am I right, people? Pic no related.

At best, only something by Alan Moore. Sage for wrong board, /co/ is to the left.

I'd consider Watchmen literature - but generally, not really.

Why Watchmen sucks:
- guys in capes (outside of a Victorian novel about the aristocracy)
- people in Lycra (outside of a bondage club)
- a naked blue guy who survived a nuclear explosion thing
- flat characters who never change or grow
- superpowers
- it has its own board (/a/ or /co/, whichever is preferred for cartoons)

I consider them literature of the highest quality.

>flat characters who never change or grow

>I've never read Watchmen

Also, polite sage for off-topic. Discussion of comics should go in /co/
