Their thoughts at a particular point in physical time pervades your mind as if they are present in the room with you. You hear their words, not in your internalized voice, but in the voice of another, deflowering you every step of the way, unrelentingly. Its a one way exchange; you are being dictated at. Well atleast that is if you refrain from marking up the book, in which you are then projecting your words onto the author and getting into the closest semblance of a conversation that you can have with these particular individuals. It certainly does make you feel less alone when you do it in this fashion.
