The better question here is why do janitors delete college threads? Os it because none of them have gotten a college education? Maybe they feel threatened?

I notice they also tend to delete any threads about drugs, even ones that relevant to literature and writing.

Because it has everything. Great and moving story with philosophical undertones, relatable main character (the most relatable book character for me), well-developed side-characters, historical accuracy etc. Pushes all the right buttons for both casual and experienced readers.

It packs in so much that after reading it you cant help but feel you understood humanity as whole a little better.

And movie is also great although they had to leave out a lot of things. But it is a good watch after reading the book.
