Can someone explain to me why it's "funny and innocent" when a female does but "bitter and mysoginistic" when a male does it?

Surely making fun of men for writing and caring about how they needlessly had their penis mutilated as a baby against their will isn't misandrist thing to do, and surely if a male said and acted the same way about females caring about something they had taken away from them against their will it wouldn't be considered mysoginistic.

Were the lines aimed at what are thought to be common elements to writing by male novelists? A lot of the barbs just seemed to be relative to elements of bad writing, bare the opening blatant mockery of Hemingway, who is easily parodied but still far more intelligent artistically and otherwise than anyone whose yet joked about him. Maybe I'm too dense and missed it. I didn't find the lines funny, but what little I understood I also find idiotic in writing male or female.

If this is true, then the best a woman in OP's position could potentially do is to write something worthy of observation, rather than pen a mediocre slam-poem for a convention. Writing is a laborious process, and even what's being poked fun at is superior to the nature of the joke--by taking that route in such a dull fashion she's already put herself back a step. And as someone above mentioned, women are hardly struggling to be recognized within literature.
