Is Aristotelian ethics considered iron pill? I think they're very compatible.

Easily. Aristotelian ethics is anti-relativist without succumbing to the pitfalls of enlightenment philosophy (ie obsession with rules, formulas).

Aristotle's functional concept of a human being isn't far off from what the iron pill professes.

⇒Aristotelian ethics
1. We don't live in ancient Greece, kid. We live in the 21st century. Whatever you'll find in Aristotle's books, it is outdated and not applicable in our society anymore. Trying to live by the ideals of an ancient and primitive society is literally an exaggerated and even more autistic version of the fedora lifestyle.
2. Ethics in general is a pile of bullshit. Philosophers try to tell you how to live or to think but in the end it all boils down to either subjective opinions based on "muh feelings" or trivialities everyone with common sense would have figured out anyway.

Considering 'iron pill' seems to be based on very barbarian sensibilities, I would say that Aristotle's ethics, which pride reason and correct action over pride and love of strength, are actually rather far from it.

As an anon 'wakes up' and finds his current Schemata incompatible with happiness, the way the world works when observed, or his own (lack of) sensibilities, he has an existential crisis and searches for meaning and identity.

By being 'red pilled' anon is shown the errors in his current reality tunnel, the 'green pill' is the methodology to escape his psychic and biological scripts and form his own reality. The rest are ready-made realities to restore meaning with.

I see it as a game on the hero archetype (red and iron pill) fighting what would be the trickster (indigo pill and his bluepilled servants), you can see it as an echo of the battle between Thor and Loki if you want.
