So I just read this the other day. It was a fun read.

Zizek always seems to be in the precipice of arriving at some profound absolute, but right as the crescendo reaches its highpoint, he mutates the conversation into something totally different, only obliquely related.

The end result is a thrilling ride through human knowledge, shortcuts and leaps abounding but never wanting for curiosity.

Is this kind of writing typical for contemporary continental philosophers?
