I do. I just don't read/watch as much of it anymore. I much prefer film and literature.

Seasonal stuff is mostly a waste of time, and i've watched pretty much all the shows i'm interested in already.

Because it's awful. Everytime someone has suggest an anime, it's just been full of clichés, a mediocre story at best, and just not worth the fucking time. Why not watch a film instead of watching a bad cartoon? I don't want to learn Japanese, have no strong interest in Japan. So there's no reason.

Most manga/LN/anime are way more imaginative than any western movie/book. Just take fantasy for example. Most western fantasy books try to copy Tolkien and it's all about "good vs. evil" or they try to be overly smart and come off as pretentious. Then compare it to stuff like Log Horizon, No Game No Life and Hataraku Maou-sama. It goes from people who were sucked into a MMO and are now trying to figure out the rules of this new world to two NEETs who gamble with other races in order to be able to challange god to a game to the devil who becomes human and works at McD.

Recently started watching anime (obvs watched dbz and poké when I was little), my mate recommended Death Note to me, I liked it quite a lot. Watching FMAB now, and it's good aswell.

Although I'm surprised the people in Japan don't lose their shit over some of the female characters. Winry's skirt in FMAB is so short, the only thing stopping you from seeing right up her fanny is the fact that they haven't drawn it.

just watched kaiji and nge tbh, loved both but everything else seems bland fanservice and shit
