If Rand is all "hurpa derpa Anarch-Capitalism," how come she was against planned obsolescence?

In Atlas Shrugged, Rearden makes a bluish steel that's 10 times stronger than normal steel, and is 25 times more durable. He isn't allowed to use it because the gubmint think it's unsafe, but really their ulterior motives is that they want the formula for the steel so they can make it for themselves or some stupid shit like that.

But just to be clear, planned obsolescence is the diabolical application by capitalists to keep industry and capitalist enterprise going. This blue steel would by Rearden would totally fuck over all steel manufacturing (because it would make things last 20 times longer).

Also, in Atlas Shrugged, there is a Tesla character (Galt) who invents the wireless energy generator that can transmit massive amounts of energy. Galt protects his device because he invented and he and only he wants to profit off of it. Because he can't, he forbids the world to have it.

This can't be right. If Rand actually used a Tesla character, and actually knew about Tesla's plans to make a wireless energy generator/transmitter, then she would know it was thug capitalists like J.P Morgan who squashed Tesla's experiments to make the generator, and black balled him from getting funding or investments to make said wireless generator.

tl;dr Ayn Rand is a subversive soviet techocratic propagandists, embedding subversive socialist themes in laughable "capitalist virtues".
