hey /lit/ I just got this (the satanic bible) and I must say I'm pretty disappointed with it. It's got hardly any spells and none of them work. So what I want is advise on proper magic books (grimoire). Does anybody know of any like the Book of Abra Melin - ones where the spells actually WORK?

If you're looking for a book that has spells that actually work, I recommend you find one of the following:
1) A book with spells that make very common things happen without specifying the time
2)A book with spells that will only take action after your death
3)A book with spells to alter your perception but which require the use of LSD while casting

If its not one of these, toss it into the same shelf as the bible, the Harry Potter series, and other pieces of mystical fiction.
