I guess a few hundred? I have a few shelves full in my lounge, quite a lot on my mum's bookshelf (she has more room than me) and a few big boxes in her garage.

I guess I own about half the books I've read, while the other half I gave away to someone after reading them, or else they were library loans or e-reader files.

My personal collection has about 400.

The collection I share with my father has 3500 or so, it's always growing because the man does not stop buying more and more books

My chair is right in front of my computer anyways, so it doesn't take any more effort to access the internet while reading a physical book. I think it's the association paper books have with a specific type of reading. My brain enters a weird concentrative state when reading a physical book that doesn't occur when reading e-books.
