People who present such issues dealing with natural human "rights" are people too. In fact, that is half the point. They want you to recognize that they are capable of being wrong and at the same time they do not want to deal with the shame of being wrong, just like you or me. So you must consider the fact that your actions will look just like the actions of people who are completely ignorant to the argument that they are making. By acting in such a way that you suggested, you will at best look like a fool and at worst be fodder for the strawman arguments of the weakest feminists who are there.

Feminism is simply the idea that women are people too, with all the faults and qualities that you would associate with the population at large. I have actually often wondered and brooded upon the idea that I do not 'further subjects', as you put it, but do instead whatever is contentious or outrageous simply for attention.

I suppose there is a part of me that wants to make them think. Actually it's a pretty large part, but obviously such a grandiose performance is about attention more than anything else.

Demand equality on all fronts.
Demand the draft for women.
Demand quotas in jail to have as many women as men.
Demand the promotion of rape culture for girls and women so that boy and men get raped/sexually assaulted as often as women, by girls and women.
Also the promotion of violence for girls and women.
That should help solve the incarceration gap as well.

Get out the statistics on domestic violence, how mothers hurt children more than fathers and so on.
And thus that mothers shouldn't be given custody, that all custodies should go to the state.
Since 70% of divorces in the US are initiated by women, and a divorce means losing custody of your children for both parents, it might help reduce the number of divorces.

I certainly agree with your point on furthering human understanding. I am at a point in my life where I am trying to feel comfortable with my integrity, I hope that's not too blog tier.
I am not quite sure how to not be a complete attention whore tho. I don't quite know how to be unselfish.

I have learnt a lot from the class. I think some people have some very reasonable points, and I can even identify with some of what the teacher says, despite her air of superiority.
My debating skills have become more reasoned since uni in general, and I try to avoid involving my emotions.
I think I have come to terms with the fact that I do have it good, I do have it A LOT better than most. For a good part of my life I did not want to believe or see this, for I feared I would see in myself a spoilt brat. The people in the class haven't necessarily made me see that (travelling has for the most part), but the conversations and just looking around me whilst at uni has.
