Literature which will improve me verbally.
(Considering all options/categories)

Parents are foreign and speak poor English and that has affected me when having conversations with others, due to lack of words I have stored in my thick head. Which has also lead people to not take me seriously, so I'm really wanting to improve my social skills.

Any suggestions?

Yea, but I'm talking about books which have complex yet memorable phrases/wording.
Like words a adult should know and use in common conversation.

Come on, we all go full retard once in awhile.
Thought this was the best place to ask.
You don't learn words in-depth meanings and context placement from social communication.

Charles Bukowski's pretty good for that.

Cheers I'll have a look for it at my local library when I have the chance.
