During the 20th century Europe has very much been under US influence as a guidelight for philosophical thought and popular culture. However I feel that now in the beginning of the 21th century we've beginning to see a desire to dissolve that union whilst reaching toward a sense of Renewing European culture - admiring the intellectual, the low voiced, striving toward the higher arts and scientific achievement? What are the chances my friends?

It's more of a feeling I guess, but some of the underlying causes are NSA scandal, European Union, the market shift from London to Germany, from US to China, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, in the cultural arena US these days seems loud, abrasive and oversexualized. A lot of the values that we once cherished US for, equality and liberty, seems utterly lost. And I also think that Europe wants to regain what we lost during the 20th century during the two world wars and with the iron curtain.
