Some time ago I wrote a horror/scifi novella based on /v/'s ideal game concept "Pressure", basically survival horror in a deep sea research station where the layout, enemies and your player class are randomized each round so no two playthroughs are the same.

I've tried to replicate that while maintaining a tense, disturbing narrative. Each volume features a different cast, although some characters or references to events from the prior volume tie them together. The threats are different each time but come from the same 'source'.

The next volume will be out before Christmas. Pic is the WIP cover art.

If you enjoy First Encounter, while you wait for Dark Corners, you might enjoy my other scifi novella "Perfect Enemy". Sort of a manifesto arguing for biological transhumanism over technological transhumanism, heavily influenced by Ender's Game.

Wrong marketing for this board

I advertised on /v/ and was told to come here instead.

Do I need a Kindle for this? I won't promise to buy it but I do like the whole deep sea concept. That isn't explored in science fiction very often

If neither board wants you, it might be a sign for you to stop posting.

I got mainly positive reactions, but there was one guy who wouldn't get off my back. I see there will be one in this thread as well.

As I understand it this board is dedicated to literature. I've written some and would like you make you aware of it so that if you want to, you can purchase and read it.

I don't see anything malicious about that.

There's a Kindle app for anything you own with a screen and internet access.

Literature =/= books. You haven't written lit, you've written a book.

Thanks OP. Might give it a read.
