Dude, just this week I got uncooked bacon juice on my thick ass history of art crit book from the library because the packaging leaked in my bookbag. Then a couple days later it got soaked again from some cooked kale i was carrying for lunch! Someone should invent an umbrella for books. Geez Louise.

From threads like this, I think the "typical behavior" is to buy books new, shelve them, and pretend you've read or you're going to read them.

Take photos when there's a bookshelf thread (or start one) and say you're "careful" with your books whenever someone says they've clearly not been read, and you're good to go. A /lit/izen.

I've been wanting a collection of all 4chan's collective nouns for a while now. I should probably start asking sometime soon. Not now, though, we're entering the dead hours.
