Just... Just stop. Don't hedge your bets, go full literature.

I remember you from last year. I think you have a nice window situation going on there. The modular shelving was pretty sharp looking but I can tell you're already lamenting the decision... There are several option. You could self-publish, which most of /lit/ hates. You could also ask someone to format these things into legit files, that you could later send to publishers. Or, if you really can't overcome your fears, you could just invest in a good smartphone ( note3 being the best, but cheaper ones will suffice ). There are proper office apps for those. You'll be able to write proper stories and send them to publishers right away, form your phone.

Yep... I write on my bed... by hand...

It's about 50/50 between here and at a local coffee shop. I go there when I just can't focus or have horrible writers block.

Or if my cats won't leave me alone. One of my cats actually got into one of my short stories for a class because he kept laying on my keyboard, then everyone thought I put the cat in for some metaphorical reasons, dude guys he was just bugging me.

That little kitten is distracting me currently....

Also I used to write with my laptop only... then I went to see my sister a month ago and forgot my charger.... so... I actually learned I like writing by hand. It forces me to read it again and edit it almost subconsciously while typing it up, I like that.

Not that poster, but it that style of paneling was popular in the 70's so it could just be an older house, or it could be a mobile/pre-fab home

It's what I do my writing in too, lol. The kitten isn't as bothersome as my other cats too at least, she just burrows into my chest by my legs when I write.

My bigger cats straight up just sit on my notebook or keep rubbing on my pen.
