Hey /lit/

I need recommendations for extremely sad books.

I need something that makes me cry every time I read.

Prefer if the book contains...
>rape
>suicide
>tragic love story
>isolation
>abuse (of any kind)
>rape
>animals being injured
>touching moments
>tragic endings
>deep philosophical shit

Not necessary, but that's the shit that makes me cry.

Pic not related, but its the alien from predator vs alien fucking the Asian kid from Up

This looks really good actually, thanks again.

Could you give me a little bit about the book? Cause no where seems to have a good little piece about it without spoiling it.

If anything, read Studies in Pessimism from P&P. The layperson wouldn't be able to get past the first chapter of WWR

Would you guys recommend the twilight series as a sad book series?

It's not the way the book is written, but the realization that there is no shorter path to unhappiness than to attempt to satisfy one's desires.

Yes. The style makes me cry.

You can get that from reading an intro to Schopenhauer just as well. WWR is dense and most people will get discouraged very early on before they reach Book 4 and all that resignation stuff
