OK enough with the farm animals for a few minutes and answer me this:
HOW THE FUCK did Samuel Beckett manage to divide his days between sitting at his desk writing masterpieces and boozing in the bars of Montparnasse and STILL end up, at age 60, looking like he'd spent his life riding bareback across the plains of Dakota or racing through the forests after wild stag like Daniel fucking Day Lewis in that movie?
I try to break up my writing with a bit of jogging every day - something I can't quite envisage Beckett doing, or anyone else for that matter in Paris in 1955 - and I STILL look more like Slavoj fucking Zizek than I do like this guy.

Kind of makes you wonder what HE had to be miserable about.
