I was thinking maybe if I could stop playing video games I could get a hold of my life. So I did and I went outside and I tried to mingle with everyone like those guys in those movies who never seem to have much trouble mingling with everyone. Then I realized, all I changed were the characters, that cleric, paladin, and rogue were replaced by neighbor, that guy that always has weed, and my brother. But it wasn't as fun.


Did I do it /lit/? Am I the new face of Alt Lit?

I open up a tab for craigslist. I type the first few letters of the name of my urban center into the url bar. The browser fills in the rest and I type enter. I browse 'missed connections' for ten minutes. I browse it for another ten minutes. My neighbors are shouting at their dogs. I can hear them shouting at their dogs through the wall. I move my curser over the "Jobs" tab, and down to "food service & hospitality."

Tao Lin is good, in my opinion. It's the rest of the alt-lits who are horribly stupid and pretentious. Some of them are awkwardly trying too hard to sound like him.
