I went to a party last weekend, I got talking to one girl about Mesopotamian and Greek mythology, but we got sidetracked by the argument her writer boyfriend/husband/partner/whatever was having with the hosts sister about how much of West-European myths and "epic" tale had survived and how much there ever had been.
