If you'd actually spent any time reading the relevant works that precede this (Nietzsche, Spinoza) instead of diving wholesale into the next phenomena which presents itself in your vision, you'd have already encountered Deleuze in some way, shape, or form through criticisms and/or commentaries and would have already made it a point to do a little research on the man and his work and wouldn't need to ask dumb questions about it.
