Faulkner and Bradbury were vital in their time, respected in their time, published in their time. But now, the modern reader has become so brainwashed by fascists that it's almost impossible to find someone who understands actual contemporary literature. Readers are all focused on the past, the safe past, while living breathing authors who are writing great stuff die from starvation and suicide...you fuckers who have your head up the arse of History's lit are to blame.
