What is /lit/'s opinion on the age of consent?

>> No.3324490

Should be set to 25.

>> No.3324500

We should go back to ancient times. No sex before marriage. Men marry women when career is launched. Women stay at home.

And I'm not saying this in a misogynist way.

Wanting to see men and women carry out different social functions doesn't mean that I hate one or the other. "Misogyny" is a silly concept to begin with.

Yes, goyim. Create competition between the genders to drastically lower the labor market equilibrium and make children suffer from divorce and incomplete family structures. Alienation is a good thing!

It's worth what it's worth since we're anonymous on 4chan, but I used to fuck around a lot, drink 4-6 times a week, smoke weed every day and stuff. Growing up made me come to this conclusion.

If I wanted to play your game, I'd say: teenager detected.

13 here. It's ok, the problem is not the law, is the morality of many people who don't see relations between a teenager and an adult; and they judge it with a kind of superior morality.

>Many people think that it's illegal for an adult to fuck with an under 18.

Women are more suited for raising a family and taking care of the home then they are for working.

A woman should not work unless her husband's salary is too low to give her and her kids a comfortable life.

And you're saying that's not mysogynist or sexist?

To answer OP, age of consent is about two years after puberty. You can't say immediately after puberty because the teenagers don't have a right mind due to developing hormones. You also can't say something like 18 because that's an arbitrary number, especially since people keep going through puberty till they're like twenty. So the answer is in between, for sex anyways.

No look mate, you listen here. The only person getting reported here is you, and you know why that is, mate? Because you need to shut your fucken trap once in a while, okay? We all appreciate a good gabber, a good bit of mental diarrhoea every now and again, maybe even a small quantity of intellectual masturbation. But /lit/ is not your fucking cumbox, and it's high time you went out into the world and started doing something.

Intelligence means nothing if you don't use it for anything, and right now you're just wasting everybody's time. Okay? Ya dig?

Now get the fuck out of here, baby cakes, and show the world who's boss!

I'm aware of the things you're forced to do when you're poor, I spent a good deal of my childhood in poverty. Nothing is stopping a vast majority of people from continuing their education, beyond their inability to give a solitary shit and the fact that their families encourage their laziness.

Well, there are a couple things, but you could argue whether or not it's in their control.

If they have kids, it might be because those neighborhoods don't teach contraception very well (despite popular belief, if you educate people right, they will use condoms) and drugs always run rampant, that can stop a person's education real quick.

>> No.3325125

>>3325111

I don't get how someone couldn't afford to feed their family in England - it makes no sense to me. People complain about benefit cuts, minimum wage etc. all the time on the Guardian etc.

I managed to feed myself a varied diet (including occasional snacks and treats) for around ten pounds a week; my friend had a flat with three of his friends and they managed to live on 30 pounds a week. Rent isn't so expensive either - I was spending 60 pounds a week.

This is in London too. It fucks me off when people in free accommodation complain about not being able to feed their families on 100 pounds a week. It's so absurd.

Say I had a family, I could easily save around 1/3 of my income; even more if I had a husband. This puts higher education for my children in easy reach and a conservative holiday every year to, say, Spain or France.

I understand there is poverty, but if you have a basic job or benefits, you're not going to be poor and have to rely on your kids.
