How do I impress a creative writing major?

>> No.3316606

write her a poem that compares her to the moon :3

>> No.3316610

Fuck her in the butt

>> No.3316611

Do a backflip.

>> No.3316615

Tell her you're published, then do her inn the booty

>> No.3316618

Push her up against a wall and stick your tongue in her mouth.

It would work on me ;)

>> No.3316620

She probably (well, hopefully) reads a lot, so read some decent classic literature and talk about it with her.

What is she interested in?

>> No.3316623

>>3316601
Don't write her any stupid shit like love poems if she is any good, she will just pat you on the head and tell you you are cute and spread her legs for a 'real man'.

Do you already know her? Does she give you stuff to read she has written? If yes, be honest about the stuff and if it sucks tell her why and show her how to do better.

Milktoast I think you're a pretty cool dude(tte).

This is actually the best answer. Nothing is more annoying than hearing something is "nice". If you don't understand it, ask questions. Don't be an asshole, just ask for more. People expressing interest in your work is all kinds of flattering.

thanks :)

Don't know her yet but I've been creeping. I want to build a solid literary base so I don't look like a fool when I do approach her.

This will not end well.

How old are you?

Do math. It's like magic to those people.

>Creative Writing Major

Tell her you have a stable job and would be more than willing to support her stupidity (I mean, career choice)

>> No.3317121

Convince her that you have connections at Vintage
Take her to bed and tell her the truth afterward

>> No.3317122

Sure is reddit in here.

>> No.3317133

>>3317112

Have fun shoveling horseshit, farmhand.

>> No.3317135

>>3317122
Come on, that insult didn't even make sense. You can't just use "reddit" as a synonym for "bad".

>> No.3317152

>>3317135
But you can use it as a synonym for someone with the ideology of "So I hear you have humanities degree? You'll never get a job XD"

>> No.3317155

>>3316661
do a barrel roll XD

>> No.3317159

>>3317152
You see that idea about 1000x more frequently on /sci/ than on reddit.

>> No.3317165

Have a job.

>> No.3317184

>>3317159
I know I just like to mess with the aspies that think everyone that goes to a website can be lumped into one homogenous being lmao :p

>> No.3317313

fuck her good & stop trying to impress women

I already know you're unable to do this.

>> No.3317360

>>3316661
*incoming life-altering failure alert*

Try treating her like a fellow human, OP. Talk to her without trying to impress her. You're going to look like a dumbass and a stalker if you're "creeping" or "building a base" to impress her.

>> No.3317400

Posted here before, but just think about it. She is doing a creative writing major. Do you think, that girl wants to go on a date with you and talk about BOOKS?
Seriously, she has probably been writing and reading all week long (at least if she is doing it right), so the last thing she needs is some guy trying to impress her by being like 'Oh have you read Ulyssess yet? Oh and what about Gravities Rainbow? No? So who is your favorite russian writer? Mine is Chekov, his short story...' and so on and so on. You know what I am trying to say?
If she asks you, be honest and tell her you like to read (if you do) and what books you enjoy. She probably knows more about literature then you and trying to come up with something impress like Joyce or Pynchon will just make you come up as a try-hard idiot if you can't really tell her why you liked it.

Just be a cool guy, be funny and talk to her about different stuff. There are movies, music and so on. If she wants to talk about books with you, she will mention it.
