I need help /lit/, I don't read nearly as often as i'd like to, but that is basically because I don't know how to find stuff i'd enjoy. My favorite books are A Scanner Darkly and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Any recommendations are appreciated!

Why don't you just keep reading Dick and Thompson.

You'd probably like Naked Lunch by Burroughs.

I have, Dick is my favorite author. It's just that I was looking for stuff I don't know.

Last time I had a Dick binge, I looked at the Strugatskys and Stanislaw Lem.

William S. Burroughs (Anywhere)
Samuel Delany - Dhalgren
China Mieville - Embassytown (or any)

Maybe something from
Iain M. Banks
Clark Ashton Smith

Iain M Banks isn't the same kind of Sci Fi at all. Banks is all pulpy space opera stuff.
