Have you ever written erotic fiction? Ever published your work in literotica, dA or similar? What kind of feedback did you get?

I'm talking about fetishes, kinks, pornography, fan fiction etc...

I was thinking about practicing writing by creating erotic fiction around a few fetishes/interests I have. Seems like a good way to keep myself motivated. I have settings, certain plot points and characters/character development concepts ready. It would be my goal to make it as good as possible and not just shallow pornography.

I know there's atleast one erotic fanfiction published which has made millions - let's not mention the name. Would this be a way to break into the industry? Perhaps by writing commissions to specific fetish communities? I know many artists who draw already do it and some earn a living by doing it.

Write before fapping, edit after fapping.

Is this a touchy subject or what?

I only did that once because I hadn't fapped to my imagination in a long time and it felt awkward so I had to get it down somehow.

I thought it was pretty good

Did you publish it somewhere?

I remember I once started writing some piece of erotic fiction, but it spiralled out of control. I was too ambitious, and my interest in writing it waned along with my boner. I suppose that's the main reason most "good" stories in literotica stall and never finish. The crappy ones are usually short and I suppose written "one-handed".

But it should be theoretically possible to write "tastefully" while having the sex as a sort of extra incentive and to add spice, right?

Cynical perhaps, but it's difficult find fault with that reasoning.

No, but I've thought about it.
Erotic literature of my fetish is so shitty. It's almost always unrealistic and stupid.

It was only like 2.5k words long, and way too Nabokovesque in description to be arousing now that I think about it.
