Any other novels with video games as a central plotline?

All I got so far is Slum Online and pic related.

reading my first draft over, there's a shit ton of potential, I just need to polish it out of it. honestly, I think it's going to turn out really good. It's depressive, volatile, violent, black . . . it fucking glitters with hostility. I love it.

Stephenson's REAMDE plays a lot of times in a WoW-like world and most of the story is about it (and terrorists for some weird reasons), still better than Ready Player One (a book solely about "hurrdurr anyone else remember the 80s, you know what that story needs? More DeLoreans!")

The book "Bird by Bird" might help you

>be reading a book about writing
>woman-writer
>calls all first drafts "shitty", never mentions "first draft" without "shitty"
>tells stories about coke-benders on the side
>tells you that perfectionism is the absolute worst thing when you write

I was impressed.

The Beach by Alex Garland is about a recovering gamer and I think there's some sequences in it where he describes reality as a video game but it's been years since I read it.
