I do like the style, particularly the last sentence. That sense of redundancy and starting the sentence with 'because' aptly convey an autistic sense of infantilism. I really want to hate TCIOTDITNT, though.

Hmm. Interesting picture.

It kind of has a tense dichotomy going there, between innocence/purity and deviance/macabre, ideology versus physicality, etc etc. what have you.

Regardless of the photographer's intent, it's kind of eerie, forbidden, but also oddly expressive.

>>3134893
Do I think it's possible for one man out of the three billion on earth to both be a pedophile and have a beautiful daughter? Yes.

Do I think there are more pedophiles than we are willing to admit, hiding in the woodwork, knowing full well they can't risk being found out? Absolutely.

I wouldn't want to play dice on this one, but I hope for her sake it isn't the case. I haven't seen anything save what's been posted on this board tonight, but hopefully he's just a professional photographer being a professional photographer.

Why do they never tell us that you are poor devils like us, that your mothers are just as anxious as ours, and that we have the same fear of death, and the same dying and the same agony--Forgive me, comrade; how could you be my enemy?”

Interesting, I always thought American Psycho centered around gore and serial-killerness.

Also, how would you say Satanic Verses relates to this general theme? What about the other book, Ik, Jan Cremer? I've never read either of them.

>> No.3135025

>>3135006

Why does there have to be a general theme? Why can't the selection of books be widely varied in nature? Are you saying it's by chance a novel whose subject matter contains sexual relations with children is among that stack? Are we to infer nothing at all from the photograph? Who is to say your narrative is not as valid as mine?

I drew the line on pedophilia way back when I was 6. My sister and myself were being molested by my father. She is and was pretty. I threatened to call the police on him for hitting me not fully understanding the sexual nature of his touching.

When I was merely in primary shoocl I often had strong sexual thoughts and imagery running through my mind. Sexuality and innocence are a highly pleasurable concoction. As I turned 18 and became increasingly more sexual with my partner I often played with thoughts of law and restriction. Really thinking I was building an impassable wall between me and sickos like my father. It was a line in the sand but it felt and seemed like a fortress keeping me and victims protected like high castle walls, impenetrable.

Now 30 and lurking on /b/ I was bombarded with sexualized images and gifs of children. Still yet safe behind my castle walls. I often masturbated at least 7 times a week over regular porn. Which was a satisfactory replacement for the lack of female friends I had brought upon myself.

>> No.3135033

But /b/ rustled my jimmies with it's state of the art advertisement of young girls. Images and the existence of young girls and especially boys don't stir anything in me, normally. But /b/ is a hive mind of the most foulest people on earth with a talented eye for the most desireable of sexualised photos of any porn. By and large safe behind my castle walls I was still shaky from the feeling. I decided it would be safe to try masturbating over one of the images which was of a young teen. It was okay but it felt like my castle walls had gotten shorter by half. I did it about 4 or 5 times and found that the mixture of innocence and sexuality was akin to having a wet lucid dream. However, the path this led down was destructive and dangerous. My conscious is as strong as my curiosity though I was free to choose between the two's use. I knew the pain and suffering of a child after the molestation because I had lived it and still do. I would live a destroyed life if I continued any further away from the safety of my home. What if I molested a girl, the cops found out and I was put in jail? oh, the shame. I dislike the mere thought that I would drip with sleaze from just masturbating over them. What if I was shopping and people could read that I liked little girls? I die a little inside from the shame.

>> No.3135035

So I got back behind the line and in a few months I felt the security of a castle's walls rise in its stead. I chalked it all up to the fact that I wanted to walk in my father's shoes, live in his skin and increase my understanding of him. But any further continuation of masturbation over images of young girls could not be passed under this banner, or temporary ruling I'd given myself.

Later I thought to myself "When you kill the monster and if you live long enough you become the monster" Perhaps was an addage to reassure myself or an archaic idea that stood in my way in the first place. I couldn't remember how long I'd been thinking it.

So in closing, innocence and sexuality feels like dream. But its pleasure is a one way street that minors are not yet ready to partake in.

So it goes.

>> No.3135097

>>3135025
There has to be a general theme because you're insinuating the image is pornographic while I'm insinuating it's generally deviant.

I'm not saying that chance found the novel in the place it is at, I'm saying that the subject matter belongs in the stack due to deviance, not pornography, of the nth degree.

I'm not saying we should infer nothing from the photograph, on the contrary I find it very provocative of thought.

I believe one might argue "my narrative" as you call it, is stronger because it takes evidence from the entire photograph. All of the books, to my knowledge, are also considered intellectually taxing. I still can't find much information on Ik Jan Cremer in my language, but I did find this:

http://www.jancremer.com/index.php?subpage=books/&page=book6

It seems to, again, include sex, yes, but seems to be a libertine bildungsroman in general.

There's no reason to get defensive, I was merely asking a question.

>> No.3135111

>>3135097

I'd say we're making a similar insinuation.

That an element of pedophilia might be part of the provocative nature of the photograph is my entire point. I'm not suggesting the photo is pornographic or aims to be, at least not explicitly/visually
