Girls think it makes me deep and edgy.

My reasons are sort of Crocean, a combination of believing my artistic ability capable of serving historical, political, and human matters but anti-Crocean for the sake that I see my art as dispensable, temporary, a morsel in the feast of eternity.

I write because it's too expensive to hire people to act out my insane fantasies.

To present my views to the world in the most seductive manner.

Off topic since I don't create any art. But I have two friends, one makes violins the other is a dancer. To them, art gives them a reason to go on living. Without art life would be meaningless.
I have more an engineering type mind so I've always pondered what in hell they're talking about. Over time, I think I get it more.

I'm not great at expressing myself through everyday speech, and I usually end up feeling misunderstood and exasperated when I try to communicate with other people. When I write, I feel I can express myself more clearly.

fun & enjoyment

Even though it constitutes intellectual effort, has possibilities of imparting knowledge and can convey revolutionary ideas. Art will always be about fun
