I'm not a writer, so I don't really mind.

I've read a surprising lot of authors who don't have Wikipedia entries though. English ones, at least.

Have we really come to the stage where having a Wikipedia entry is the summit of human achievement?

Dear god.

That's a good thing. I want to be anonymous, invisible. I don't want people to know I exist. I move furtively through the night.

The thing is, I could die happy if I had my own (legit) Wiki entry. I mean, you have to be reasonably successful to get one, so why not? I doubt I ever will, but you never know.

I like everything about this you well spoken rapist. Could you please amuse me further by quoting the rhetoric you use when you want your victims to stop resisting?

I was being sincere. Really. I go to the grocery store at 3AM.

I know that feel, bro. I know that feel.

I have little interest in fame for whatever reasons. I am quite content to go through life as a ghost. Sort of like The Man With No Name.

I was looking at the NYtimes best sellers list just today, and found only a handful of titles had wikipedia pages.

So there's that.

Well, in your hypothetical, I would say "stop resisting". I'm not very articulate.

There are no grocery stores open past 12am where I live. I really miss living within range of a 24-hour walmart. You lucky dog.

Wikipedia articles exist for the most ridiculously undeserving things. Not only does Cory Doctorow have one (which is justified), but his 'concept', 'metacrap' has its own article (which is a horrible blemish on Wikipedia and its concept in general).

>> No.2625344

Even if I do ever become known for anything, I hope beyond hoping that there is no Wikipedia article about my work, misrepresenting everything I've ever done and giving wiki-hipsters something to bring up in conversation to make them seem all clever and erudite, when really they're just spouting shite.
inb4 butthurt. Wikipedia is far from reliable, far from accurate and far from respected in circles that actually matter.

Yes there will be. And i will one day look at its inaccuracies and laugh at it while you continue to wallow in self failure and post this image.
