My favorite author is Chuck Palahniuk, are there any similiar authors? I need some crunchy social satires and comedies.

I already know of Vonnegut and Bukowski

Ayn Rand's pretty badass.

Dude. Christopher Moore.

You HAVE to check his work out.

Palahniuk used to be my favorite author a while back, actually, too. I got his most recent book for Christmas and was really let down by it, though. It's like he's saying shit just to be saying it, now. All the gore and horror was great in Haunted, per se...

But like in Damned, everything is just ridiculous now.

Yes, definitely check out Christopher Moore.

The Stupidest Angel was the first book I got by him. I've read Practical Demonkeeping, Island of the Sequined Love Nun, and Lamb. He's very dark, but whimsical and elaborate and incredibly funny.

Thank you

Already read American Psycho. Liked it, but it was kind of weird and then how he just kind of drifted off at the end... anyway, whenever I reach for another one of his books, I just get kind of... rebuffed somehow.
