I stole a collection of poems from the library today
I ripped off the categorization sticker, ripped off the plastic jacket, and the library card as well as the barcode
And I had to cover the other sides of the book in black marker because there was the library stamp on each side
And I ripped out the first page because of the stamp on it, and cut out the ripped edges with a craft knife
Then hid it in my bag with a bunch of my books and checked out some library books
Damn, it feels good to be gangsta

>> No.2515406

I've stolen some shit in my life. I've stolen some books as well. But never from the library. That's fucked. I'm backtracing you and the consequences will never be the same.

once, i did this and the fucking sensor still went off. a librarian stopped me, sweat needled to the surface of my skin, i was panicking. she asked if she could search my bag and i said ''sh-sure'' because, what else could i do? the room shattered into fragments, the clock, my shoes, the next patron's glare. the phone rang, and in the minute it took for the librarian to turn her back, i fished the book out of my bag and placed it on the ground, kicking it away. finding nothing, she apologized and sent me on my way.

Yeah, but it's Allen Ginsberg, so it was worth it

You don't like Ginsberg?
I take it you're not a fan of kerouac either
What kind of poetry are you into?
I'm honestly a poetry novice, I stole it because it was in the recommended poetry guide, and I couldn't find it anywhere else. I like Howl, after reading it a few times
Any poetry collections you would recommend?
Except Sylvia Plath

Hmm I like your congeniality. I actually do like Kerouac and defend him often, but Ginsberg I do not care for. Something about Ginsberg is just so not genuine. I think he was just a New York Hipster well before his time. I thought Howl was great when i was a youngling, though. I liked how emphatic it was. If you like the beatniks, then Rimbaud is a must, and he is a must no matter what if you ask me. I would say go for a nice bilingual edition of his complete works. You know shoplifting from a corporate bookstore is both easier and less reprehensible than stealing from a library. On top of Rimbaud, you could try Verlaine (and one day you may get that joke). You would probably like Lorca a lot, but I have not found a translation that i really like so i cannot recommend any particular book. My favorite poet of all is Dylan Thomas (take that for what you will) Baudelaire, if you're feeling blue, or if a girl breaks up with you can be nice.

Much better

I tend to get turned on from seeing girls feet from top view. Like when they're wearing high heels or something

I'm cool with the sole of the feet if they're good, not dirty/over red or got yucky thick skin. Stockings work wonders on girls too

Why are we talking about this? It's like the second foot fetish discussion in /lit/ in 2 dy

One man, I remember, used to take off his hat and set fire to his hair every now and then, but I do not remember what it proved, if it proved anything at all, except that he was a very interesting man.
