To anyone who has read The Now Habit, I'm curious what the point of recording the flow state exercises is? I have the audio book already, so I can just listen to the audio tracks when I need to do the exercises. Thoughts?

THANK YOU! That blog was posted here before but I was stupid enough to not add it to my bookmarks.

I'm sorry, but that was only useful in a small way, and only by accident at that.

It's better to do the "tough" work now rather than later, but you aren't going to get anyone to do what they're supposed to do by having them imagine how tough things will be in the future.

'The Now Habit' touches upon this subject in a much more eloquent, realistic, and overall useful way.

In any case, can anyone answer my original question; what's the purpose of recording the flow state exercise in your own voice?
