Please outline the steps it takes to get a job at a small bookstore.

If possible, please tell me how the business owner continues to stay in business. How much does he make per month? How much is his rent/any other costs? Stuff like that.

Are the people friendly? Both costomers and coworkers.

Are the prices decent?

Anyway they had all these booths set up at the far end, where guys would go in and jack off to porn or whatever. So instead of removing them we just placed a copy of Lolita in each one and charged $5 for as long as they wanted in there

I went to some hippie-type festival up in the mountains a few years ago. Figured there was some free acid + biddies so why not? Worked for me when I ran a used book store. Every time we got a lot of new stock in, I'd dial up anyone who might be remotely interested.

Failing that, you should be working on ABE or ebay listings.
