Shiva Sutras
Shiva Samhita
(Optional=abhinavagupta commentary of the gita)
Bhairava tantra (112 meditations )
The secret supreme:Kashmir shivaism (very simplified but still good.)
Kali Kaula(skip if you don’t want Neo-tantra+ historical analysis of tantra and its relations to stuff like Taoism and the general arising of Vedanta and Buddhism from the Upanishads and other such )
Tantra Illuminated (Skip if you don’t want modern lit)
Kaulajnananirnaya
Kularnava Tantra
Anandalahare
Matrikabheda Tantra
Spandakarikas
Paratrisikavivirana
Tantraloka (You can also read when you feel up to it the Tantrasara which is a condensed normie friendly version of the tantraloka written by abhinavagupta to give people a tldr)

If read in order you’d more or less fully grape the tantrik pro guna anti-nirguna position and model.

god these are so stupid
'just read the metaphysics of aristotle' with no understanding of any other parts of his system.
Truly retarded. I guess nobody gets far enough down the chart anyway. The most people do is download them and maybe libg.gen the pdfs for a row.
MAYBE read the translator's introduction, then put a pin in it, jack off, and never open the pdf again.
then it sits in a virtual library, glanced at occasionally but fundamentally doing nothing. rows of miniature polysilicon organised by NAND logic, facilitated the wave-mechanical tunnelling of countless electrons creating a voltage imbalance, writing strings, pages, blocks, planes, collected into functional flash dies. The forces operating here are stochastic, yet linearly routed to produce technological effects that cannot be adequately distinguished from magic; searching deep enough within history and we see that magic and -μαχία; or battle, spring from the same roots. Cybernetics itself derives from the greek kubernētikḗ tékhnē, or the art of active steering and control (incidentally government shares this root), for it is in the realm of computation (a term that was only transferred from man to device in the middle of the last century) that one controls as a ship his captain and as a shepherd his flock; and yet the unruly lamb of 'Aristotle - Metaphysics - Aristotle (2005).libgen.pdf' cannot be tamed, cannot be steered, cannot be mastered by any tekhne, for books are long letters to friends, and Aristotle tell us; my friends there are no friends. Nobody will read the metaphysics because the address is no longer valid. One day the downloads folder is deleted en masse, the inaugural moment of occidental philosophy has been written over, though it still exists as a space marked as empty. It lives still in an erasure until it is eventually wwritten by a futanari torrent on the polysilicon SSD of the eponymous captain of this chip. From there it will be gone forever, existing only in the imprecise term we call 'history'. It will come back as the universe repeats itself, as another /CHARTS/ thread appears, an epigenetic bastard child of psuedo-intellectualism, the digital equivalent of a magpie collecting shiny plastic with which he knows not what to do other than to collect. Those shiny objects rouse what are surely the primordial feelings of reverence that will one day compel apes to invent the greatest abstraction of all; that of knowing. And in timescales measured in continental amblings, titanic forces of earth will conspire to eject materials that allow thinking beings to perform profane acts of immanent ontological invention. Those same creatures will perceive the animation of matter, the indeterminacy of fundamental matter, and the perpetuation of life beyond biological means into the sphere of meta-biotics. The operations of a handful of university graduate school hopefuls and dropouts sharing charts could rightly be compared to the act of Gods

18.6 from the Annals of Confucius is an attempt at a refutation of men like the ones you posted who shirked Chinese society and attempted to live off the land. This is Confucius’ response to people who want to move in the woods to shirk civilization’s faults:

>Confucius passed Chang Ju and Jie Ni, who were yoked together pulling a plow through a field. He sent Zilu to ask them where the ford was to be found.

Chang Ju inquired, “That fellow holding the reins there—who is he?”

Zilu answered, “That is Confucius.”

“Do you mean Confucius of Lu?”

“The same.”

“Then he should know where the ford is.”

Zilu then asked Jie Ni.

Jie Ni also replied with a question: “Who are you?”

“I am Zilu.”

“The disciple of Confucius of Lu?”

“Yes.”

“The whole world is as if engulfed in a great flood, and who can change it? Given this, instead of following a scholar who merely avoids the bad people [of this age], wouldn’t it be better for you to follow scholars like us, who avoid the age itself?” He then proceeded to cover up his seeds with dirt and did not pause again.

Zilu returned and reported this conversation to Confucius. The Master was lost in thought for a moment, and then remarked, “A person cannot flock together with the birds and the beasts. If I do not associate with the followers of men, then with whom would I associate? If the Way were realized in the world, then I would not need to change anything.”

Completely meaningless chart, you might as well just write "Read Hawthorne" and it'd have the same effect. It's not even a flowchart/guide to Hawthorne, which is the least you could've made it.

Interesting, don't see him mentioned too often here. I've not read enough to give you a chart, but I taught at a Steiner school for about half a year until I couldn't take the cultiness of it anymore.
During my time there I read "The Study of Man", and "Anthoposophy". From what I understood, those are two good places to start if you're interested in his ideas on education and the essence of humankind.

Why is this meme chart of Harry Potter better as a chart of "The Western Canon" than any other? If you read the first half of this (Until Shakespeare) you would have a pretty solid knowledge of the western canon. Maybe adding Don Quixote and some novellas of the 19th century (Like Dostoyevsky or Melville) and that's it.

It’s a music genre. Anything related to fantasy, knights, wizards and dragons belong in there I guess.
Go check the Dungeon Synth Archives on YouTube if you’re interested.

Oh, that's both weird (not a literary genre) and incredibly broad.

They just don't.
>The Canterbury Tales
>Nibelungenlied
>Beowulf
>The Dwarf
>Gnomes
>Sir Gawain and the Green Knight
>Goblin Market
>The Manuscript Found in Saragossa
>Grimm's Fairy Tales (Only a few would fit. Just throwing an entire collection in there is useless.)
>The Long Ships
The truth is, outside of a few exceptions, a dungeon synth chart should primarily be filled with pulp. Including The Canterbury Tales is the clearest sign you could have of someone just throwing it in there without having read it because it's old and they heard something about there being an inn and a knight in it. And then of course you have the arthurian poems which no one would ever have associated with dungeon synth if it weren't for the fact that they watched the film Excalibur before reading them. I understand that 'Dungeon Synth' has largely lost all meaning since it's become popular, though. Now it looks like anything that can even just barely be said to have an element of faerie is 'dungeon synth'.
