FAO, people on /lit/ who have had sexual intercourse, when you're having sex, do you do what I do and just think about philosophy the whole time and only pay attention when it's about to finish?

>> No.2384932

You are the worst fuck ever.

>> No.2384930

not /lit/

Neither is your eight hour long attentionwhore spasm, but you don't hear anyone complaining about that.

Oh, wait. You do.

No, I pump like a hose attached to a fire hydrant, i leer into her eyes and grunt noisily, and when I come I think about Jean-Paul Sartre's "Being and Nothingness"

Yum-yum feed the Burroughs more more bon-bons.

I do it whilst thinking of solipsism, i.e. there's nothing that exists outside of these internal stimuli I'm experiencing, and I can't be sure I am currently engaging in sexual intercourse with a partner. A recurring thought also tends to be that I am in a virtual reality simulation, artificially engineered to be currently engaging in sexual intercourse.

I bet I'd wish nothing else existed if my dick was as small as yours.

I remember in another thread someone asked you if you like T.S. Elliot and you said, 'No, I like post-modern stuff'.

"The Wasteland" is a really straightforward poem!

>> No.2384961

>>2384959

It's almost too easy here...I've missed being fully submerged in /lit/!

>> No.2384963

I fuck too hard to be able to form any intelligible thoughts during sex. It's complete animal regression.

>> No.2384964

>>2384959

But seriously just because something is post-modern doesnt mean it has to be straight forward, are you fucking retarded?

>> No.2384966

>>2384961
I only recall that post because of its particular ignorance. "The Wasteland", along with "Ulysses", is the defining piece of post-modern literature. You have been enshrined in my memory as a tripcode of depravity and ignorance and that's all I recall that you've posted.

You are still not getting it...

>> No.2384972

>>2384964
No, I'm not fucking retarded, you are fucking retarded as, whilst being on /lit/, you fail to have any grasp of one of the fundamental precepts of literature: sarcasm. Look up post-modernism and its origins before making a /lit/ trip-code and being exposed to the quantity of your own literary ignorance.

I think about myself and my partner in the 3rd person in my head. My favorite position is the omniscient narrator.

>> No.2384974

My mind definitely wanders during sexual intercourse.

I almost always think of sonnet 129 right after orgasm.

Unless I'm having sex like a taoist and it's lasting for hours and then I finally ejaculate. That's pretty much the greatest feeling in the world and you don't get that kind extreme ambivalence bordering on disgust that you do when you have sex for shorter periods of time.

I've often thought that I think most philosophically during sex and exercise. During the most physical activities possible, I think about Nietzsche, Borges, finally 'get' Kafka etc.

Why has nobody graded me out of ten?

>> No.2384980

>>2384968
Will you care to explain to me what I'm not getting? Here you are, drawing attention to yourself on a perfectly reasonable thread about philosophical syllogisation, conveniently ignoring the subject at hand to insult /lit/'s sexual activity (it's better than a lot of other boards, especially those weird boards with dick girls). Cast yourself from here, cur.

lol.
I do this often, during day-to-day activities also.

I imagine monologues from certain plays and poems being written about me as if I'm having sex.

This is why I try to only have sex with philosophers.

ok, i guess i should specify. yes, i am american, and it pisses me off when americans do it. i understand that in the uk (and maybe australia), "whilst" is still commonly used. in america, though, it's archaic/not part of our english. i get mad at americans saying it for the same reason i get mad at americans for saying shit like "wanker," "jolly good," "bloody," etc. you just sound like a pretentious ass.

>> No.2385054

thinking about philosophy during sex gives you excellent stamina. theres an smbc comic i was gonna post but couldnt find it with different combinations of google search terms. youve probably seen it.

Perfectly understandable, but that person might very well be from Britain or another country that prefers the Queen's English.

you're right; i shouldn't assume. from now on, i'm going to say, "if you're american, and you say 'whilst' ever again, i'll find you and fucking kill you."
