A lot of bullshit basically.

please go on.

Expect that one girl who starts crying while she reads her poem. It's probably a poem about molestation.

Yep. If its a good class you're just going to be writing and your teacher/classmates are going to critique the writing. You might occasionally spend a class period doing something collective, like editing or critiquing a piece.

no one is going to get to read mine its privet for me and the teacher only

This is now a "that guy" thread

>intermediate creative writing class
>no genre fiction allowed
>weekly class critique of fellow students' writing
>most students' work are mediocre to good, except for...
>Jerry
>overweight, stinky guy who mumbles to himself during class
>writes a Game of Thrones short story ripoff for class critique
>awful tropes everywhere
>Godawful phrasing everywhere
>nobody can find a single positive quality in the story
>Jerry doesn't see what's wrong with it
>why do people like this exist?

Depression. Or rich tapestry.

Sounds like it was a bit like this though:

Is my "That guy."

-at least one broad will write about an eating disorder
-at least one person will write about the chick/dude in class they want to hook up with
-at least one dude will write about nailing the teacher (if she's hot)
-at least one broad will try to write like a man and likely fail
-at least one person will write a terrible, boring, not even remotely interesting story and you're expected to give positive feedback
-at least one person will very very very obviously put themselves in a story and clearly overemphasize their own ability to do anything
-if you're unlucky, and you probably will be, your teacher will ramble on for half the class about unrelated personal shit

its at the high school level so itll be shit no matter what. the only good creative writing classes are in mid/upper levels of college, and even then its 30-50% dreck/retards

Unrelated personal shit is a given. At high school level this is a fluff class you might take for a requirement, not any kind of deep wonderful technical creative writing course.

The REAL unlucky bastards are the ones who take Creative writing and get the really boring teacher. In my class I lucked into getting taught by a guy who went to Mardi Gras, got drunk, and punched a police horse in the face.

I didn't learn a goddamn thing except for a memetic chuck norris-like admiration for the creative writing teacher shared by most of the silly teens that go through his class. Still, sure was fun.

Reminds me of this:

I almost applauded when I saw that. The fag kills himself because of this later on by the way.

I hope his horse punching is reflected in his teaching.

There may be the one bro who writes hilarious stories, but even if he's somehow magically present, this figure will be offset by at least one crying girl.
