Shoplifting is better after page 19. Which considering the book is only 103 pages long that's almost 20% of the book.

I wouldn't tell you to buy Tao Lin in all honestly. You seem set to dislike him and you would take that into reading him.

i haven't read tao lin's novels but i have read almost every short story or poem or ebook he has published online and i've enjoyed most of it a whole lot. his stories are funny, oddly moving and strange. i don't like his poetry so much, apart from the whale poem of course which is hilarious. one of my favourite stories is the one about cancer, i also love that one about the boy with the pointy legs that gets taken away by a knight and used as a sword.

I read this very gay young adult book, and was quite surprised when NMH was mentioned.

A really gay fat kid went to a NMH concert with his friends from the highschool GSA. Which turned out not to be an NMH concert.
The main character loved 'Holland, 1945', but his hipster girlfriend liked their 'polyofonic' stuff better.
At the end of the book the fat gay kid made a musical about being fat and gay, and everyone kissed and cried and puked rainbows.
