So, I'm looking for some good animal literature. I'm not thinking stuff like Redwall, where they're basically humans, but more like Jack London's books (White Fang, Call of the Wild etc.) where they (preferably) don't speak, don't have morals (or at least not like ours) and act more or less like real animals.

Any suggestions? What are your favourite books?

Barely any like that. Plenty where they're more animal-ish than Redwall but still talk and have morals though.

Age of Reptiles
Its a comic book, but it fits what you're asking for.

/b/tards? In my /lit/?

Anyway, OP, this might be a long shot, but Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats is always enjoyable. A cat owner will find a lot of truths in it, at least.

Seconding Richard Adams. Also consider The Plague Dogs.

Where is the Wind in the Willows? Why the fuck hasn't it been mentioned? Also, Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH is a pretty sick book.

Oh yeah.
WitW is a little to Edwardian for me now, but I fond recollections of their little cozy homes.
Rats of NIHM was fun kid stuff too
