[spoiler]Hello there, /lit/erati! This is my first time posting here, I assumed that what i'll ask you will bring me the best answers compared to other boards.

I am trying to write a book report/review, for it is asked to me as a school assignment. My problem here is that i don't know where to start!

The question is: how would you write a book review? What are the necessary steps to do so? Any tips?

FYI the book is Zeno's Conscience, by Italo Calvino (i read it in italian), and the report has to be written in italian.</spoiler>

Is there, um… something wrong? I don't know how it is around here, but i assume that probably you guys get asked a lot about book reports.

Well, i am not asking for a book report, i am asking you guys how i can write a book report! I have always had problems with this kind of things, and at this time of my life i have absolutely got to learn how to!</spoiler>

Book reports are related to literature, and I see nothing in the /lit/ rules against talking about book reports.

Unless there is a global rule against talking about book reports, then i think your thread report is useless.

Alright, alright, since everyone else is being /lit/ish:
>how to book report
1. Thesis statement-->thesis paragraph
2. First body paragraph--->evidence, etc.
3. Second ""-->2nd claim, supporting evidence, etc.
4. 3rd...
...
(# of body paragraphs+2). Conclusion paragraph--->wrapping shit up, divine synthesis, dynamic thoughtsandwich, etc.</spoiler>

>implying i am asking people to do my homework
I am not doing that. What i asked is "do you have any tips about writing a book report?". There is quite some difference that i think your brain doesn't seem to notice.

oh, thank you. But, uh, right now i couldn't understand 80% of what you wrote! No worries though, i'll just search on wikipedia what each of those things are and get an idea about how to do this.

thank you again! I'll keep monitoring this thread in case some more useful information comes up!</spoiler>
