Is it any good or just another unfunny /lit/ meme?

Gothic Violence was better imo, but the part in HA where he mentions the phone call from his drunk friend wanting to get on steroids to beat his girlfriend better was funny enough to elicit a chuckle from me.

I enjoyed it. I don't much care for the personalities of far-right edgelords but I thought the book was pretty funny for what it was. it reads like a GTA radiostation

it's shit, but it's the best work to come out of this corner of the internet so far. as a previous anon said, GV is marginally better because it actually has a plot. HA is basically just a compilation of schizo ramblings. ma isn't that bad of a writer though and I think his future work will be significantly better than either of the books he's already written.

It's funny if you like right leaning 4chan humor. I find it funny.

But there's something spiritually repulsive I find about people like Mike Ma, Paul Town, etc etc. There's an subtle but undeniable undercurrent of pessimism and impotent rage I just find sort of faggy I don't want to integrate into myself.

These guys get it. If you ignore the horrible politics of the author and the novel, it's a fun time

It's the only book I can think of that does a good job at capturing internet culture accurately, especially the 4chan side of internet culture. It deserves some points for that at least.

I really like it. It reads kind of like a millennial Bret Easton Ellis. It's funny and short. As long as you're not expecting serious literature or profound thought, you'll probably enjoy it.

it's mostly stream of conscious so it's hit and miss but there are some legit good parts, it's very short so worth imo. the sequel not so much

I read Harassment Architecture and then BAS and much preferred HA. BAS devolves into pointless muddy rambling for the last third and it gets very frustrating to read. then the fucking cop out bullshit ending
