Anyway, it seems the academic left did a good job of pushing out the right in a post-Nazi/WW2 world because their ideas became sacrilegious, and it seems people on the right enter into non-liberal arts fields instead as a result. I agree with the premise though, that the intellectual right is severely lacking but I don't see why a new age couldn't flourish that incorporated much of the left's ideas, ie I love many of those leftist thinkers myself and I'm on the right.

The right fundamentally sees truth as a tool that can be used for both good and evil while the left sees truth as an objective good. This is why all right wing philosophy ultimately circles back to the need for a noble lie (religion, family, nation) to keep individuals from selfishly looking out for themselves and toppling civilization. Leftists believe everything must be criticized including self evident truths and common sense (there are two genders, race is real, women are biologically different from men). This is why regardless of which side you think is right leftists make better philosophers because they’re constantly investigating existence for better or worse while right wingers are constantly obfuscating reality for the greater good or noble with esoteric language and concepts.

In the last 25 years the Right has outpaced the Left in philosophical work. I know Moldbug is a meme but he really was doing pretty rigorous work about a decade ago, and he wasn't and isn't the only one.

The Left won and they've gotten fat and complacent in their victory. Peace has defeated them. The Right is over here trying to rebuild perennialist civilization, which we're going to need when the Left's triumph inevitably leads us into the new Dark Age that everybody with a brain can see is coming.

There was more interesting stuff going on in places like Social Matter and Thermidor than left-wing philosophy has done in decades.
