Hey there /lit/, uhh, I was wondering... Could we possibly have a Katawa Shoujo thread in here? /a/, /v/, and /jp/ are all full of trolls right now who won't let us discuss it without coming in and shitting all over the threads, so since it's basically 70% book I was wondering if you guys were okay with it being here?

>> No.2315437

IF YOU DISCUSS THIS FUCKING SHIT ON THIS BOARD I WILL TROLL THE FUCKING SHIT OUT OF THIS THREAD

>> No.2315452

80% completed.

I don't mind talking about it but if you don't take a pretty direct route and topic you're going to find this waffling about like the other threads people have tried to bounce off here in the last few days. Traffic moves differently here so you can't make a few general statements about feels or link together a few funny images related to the game and take off from there.

I'd prefer we talk about Rin's route. I've read a lot of literature (And I mean A LOT. At least 200 or 300 books, I don't really keep count. Maybe more.) and Rin's route, if we can count it as a book, has gained a spot in my top ten.

I wouldn't call it a book. However as a story it rings as believable and works towards something bigger than the expectation of the medium. Going through that story I felt less like I was being serviced some kind of porn and reading an actual author trying to use real people to talk about those kind of things people talk about in literature. I'm curious how old, or which one of the writers, did the Rin story.

/lit/-related: I think this game has given me a perspective on why women read romance novels.

Actually DDD is Murakami's best novel and was written before he turned to shit after the mid-90s.

Wind-Up Bird is usually named dropped as the magnum opus or Hard Boiled Wonderland thrown out there because it's probably his most surreal.

So I give them some cred for this choice.
