Remember it for its particularly graphic moments like inserting heroin needle into dick and shagging at a funeral. The David Mitchell chapter was pretty shocking too.

That being said, after following Welsh for 4 books - it hit me: these would be absolutely shit people to know in real life.
I would actively try to get away from them and their kind. So why exactly AM I readling these for?

It's a decent book and worth reading, and I like the film too, but in general I think Welsh is a poor writer and his other books are shit.
