Someone a few threads back said something along the lines of "they seem to care more about attention than they do recognition" and that was a very concise breakdown of what we've seen this last year. They seem stuck in this cycle of any attention being good attention. Look at how they were in the last thread with their samefag shilling and saying that "No one checks the IP count in threads anyway" while boasting that their shill threads always earn them a couple sales. It's just such a sad existence to live, and ironically, It's a sad existence they used to berate Card for shamelessly wallowing in.

I don't mean to narrow down who I am too much, but I used to "work" with them back in the podcast era. I produced a video for them and was on a couple episodes. It felt fun back then but it became less fun over time as personality clashes become more and more heated. I wasn't around during the doxing arc but I wasn't even close to surprised that it escalated to such a degree.

What I've seen this last year has been nothing short of a drawn out decomposition. I try to write it off as them just being children but it's dragged the entire scene to a new low that no one is interested in crawling out of. That's one of the reasons I don't associate with /lit/ anymore.
