I'm very squeamish about spending money. Especially spending it over consoomption. So when me and the boys decided to check out the bookstore in the mall I had no intentions of making a purchase. But then one of my friends got 3 and I was emboldened to buy something too.

Of all the books there I searched for meme /lit/ recommendations and brought these. I'm still debating if I should've gotten Norwegian Wood instead of Dune since by buddy says that the movie was trash.

I liked Dune. I also liked Norwegian wood. They are very different books but I found them both to be enjoyable.

Bare in mind Dune is the first in a series of six books. So you might have to buy more books if you enjoy the first.

This is the only issue I would have with your selections. Dune has dozens of cover variations and these latest prints shilling the movie are likely the worst.

While the substance of books are the most important part, any literature you hope to keep for a long term might as well look good too.
