Le Memorial de Sainte Helene of course, written by a fellow coexiled sharing the last years of his life.
"Napoleon" par Jacques Bainville is a great primer. If you want more you can go into autismo about reconstructing his life hour by hour.
Then you go delve into esoteric napoleonism with L'Ame de Napoleon by Leon Bloy.

I saw it last night, it was ass. Disappointing lack of military combat for a 2.5 hour film about Napoleon, and skips my favorite campaign of his entirely (the narrative jumps from 1793 to egypt, skipping the italian campiagn which made him famous for some reason)
