that feel when you remember a particular book that you read as a kid, really engaging yet a little beyond your comprehension. 15 years later you would like to go back and read that book and forget the title.

...Then you remember what the cover sort of looked like,
fuuuu in fantasy section, good luck with that shit. most of the books look the same.

no something about a fantasy kingdom. The king's daughter gets gang raped during a protest. Weird shit.

You just reminded me of 4th grade and reading some book where I thought colonel was pronounced like it's spelled.

I was looking for that and ended up getting this instead. Fortunately, most people I've spoken to haven't caught that I haven't read Ulysses.

That is Ulysses.

You just reminded me of a time at school when I pronounced 'Siobhan' as it's spelt. Unfortunately I wasn't in my country's equivalent of 4th grade - I was 15. Excruciating.

I did the same with the name Crichton (as in Michael) once in high school.

Blue Book, reporting in.

I'm not sure why it's pronounced as it is. It's a very Scottish name so it would make more sense if it was pronounced like the 'ch' on the end of 'loch'. If you don't know what that sounds like I suppose you could compare it to a cat hissing.
